The Slick Willie Sutton Room @ The Bank

We had a great weekend getaway at The Bank! Our room was comfortable and we enjoyed having so many shops and restaurants in short walking distance.

2. This is 2nd review of "The Bank of EA". I just completed my last day, it started on February 16th and ended May 1, 2026, I stayed in all but one room during my stay. All but week of my entire time was spent at, The Bank of EA. I failed to book one week which 🤣was an error on my part. Staying there for as long I did, I truly believe I am qualified to rate this establishment. One week I left some dress clothes behind, two days later when I returned to a different room, my clothes were in bag on the bed. The woman who does the house cleaning put them there for me, and that put a smile on face, I love this place and l believe you will too. Additionaly, the person who manages this place cares about how you are doing, checking on some questions of mine which I will not go into detail; he went above and beyond what I ever would expect This is an extremely clean, comfortable, and well located near so many restaurants, several across the street. When I return I will without a doubt stay at The Bank of EA, you should also!! 😍🤩🥰 One final thing, I want to thank the staff and the owner for the best stay away from I could have thought possible, you all rock!! 1.) I have been doing some consulting work near East Aurora for the past seven weeks. I found The Bank of EA doing a Google search for hotel in East Aurora. The price was very good so I gave it a try. The rooms are located in the basement of this once bank. There are six rooms in the basement, each room is named after a bank robber. They have The Bonnie & Clyde room, and The Slick Willie room as examples. There is a common share center area set up like a living room. They have a Samsung refrigerator, Samsung washer/dryer and other like items. The rooms are like a well decorated bedroom like home, very pleasing. I love this place, it does not feel like a hotel. The price is exceptional, I paid on average for over 2 1/2 months $102.00/night. It is located near many restaurant within walking distance. I highly recommend this place. We have stayed at The Bank many times. This room was nicely arranged and styled just like the others. Always have an enjoyable time. Very well kept and located in walking distance to several local businesses.

I am currently on a work assignment in the East Aurora area for the next several months. I found The Bank while doing a search online for a place to stay. I checked out their website, I thought what unique concept turning a Bank into hotel. Each room is named after famous gangsters instead of having a room number. I just finished staying a week at The Bank, I go home for weekend in Pittsburgh. I will be following this work schedule for the next two months. If you are wondering will I be returning to The Bank, the answer is absolutely without a doubt, “Yes”. I just reserved the next several weeks. The Bank’s website describes the rooms perfectly, additionally it located within blocks of some great places to eat.

Our stay in the Slick Willie Sutton room at The Bank of EA was wonderful! From the off-season pricing, to very good communication before and during our stay, to meeting Sofia the event coordinator (unplanned bonus) as we arrived, to our spotless room and bathroom, and the cozy Speakeasy vibe of a common area..... we felt right at home. The location of The Bank was key to an enjoyable stay in East Aurora for us. The sights we wanted to see were within easy driving distance. We were also able to walk the downtown area, take in a movie, and end our evening at Rick's on Main for a "White Christmas" cocktail. If you are a needy traveler, this might not be the best accomodation for you as there are no staff on-site. That said, everything we needed had been provided to and for us prior to arrival.
