The Frank Jelly Nash Room @ The Bank

This was a unique themed venue to be sure. It was true to the prohibition interior design concept. Overall, for me it was a dark - absolutely subterranean experience with low level lighting throughout including windows that provided little if any exposure to the outside. I minimized time spent in the room to have access to the outdoors. It was very clean and a couple glitches I had ( predominately with working / sequencing key lock doors ) was resolved via your remote property managers. It would have been nice to have an elevator to transport luggage / gear in and out of the basement. The stairs are potentially dangerous and again not well lit while lugging up and down. One other important comment. Initially when I made reservations back in August, I was automatically set up with a Link ( digital wallet ) account. I found this assumption presumptuous that I wanted / needed this subscription since I was only trying to make room reservations. I had to spend extra ( unnecessary ) time first acknowledging this unexpected account ownership as well as deleting / closing the account. I would recommend if you want to promote the program that upon reservation making this become an option and not a mandatory, without my permission sign up.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property was unique and fun! East Aurora is a beautiful town with many restaurants and shops. The property was very clean and the hosts were very attentive. Will stay there again!

Great spot for a couple days in East Aurora

The concept of this hotel is unique. It would be great for a one night stay for an event or a weekend stay. Positives: location in East Aurora, price, refrigerator, coffee and clothes washing facilities. We stayed for 5 days in the middle of a 2 week vacation. We have 2 large suitcases. There is no closet and no dresser to put your clothes, we could not unpack. The biggest liability for you are the stairs. My husband is 79 and I am 67, we are in great shape. Taking the suitcases down the stairs is dangerous. Unless I missed it, it did not say that there is no alternative way to get to the rooms. I would also recommend a rubber mat in tube is slippery.
